Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) does a study at the beginning of each year of the most popular dog names that come in on pet insurance policy applications for the previous year. Since they are the largest pet insurance company in the United States, their database offers a clear view of the dog name trends that are happening across the country.

Max takes the top spot in the list yet again this year, and you will notice that the names are mostly two syllable "people" names. Check out the full list below.
